NIHR revised Open Access Policy is Gold

The National Institute for Health Research has announced that, from 1st April 2014, all peer reviewed articles related to research funded by them will be required to be published under the ‘Gold’ Open Access route. Articles will have to be immediately and freely available on publication.  This in line with the recommendations of the Finch Report for all publicly funded research in the UK.

Further guidance will be issued during the summer.
